@HungryHowies lets you have both at once. Check out their Bacon Cheddar Cheeseburger Pizza and enjoy the best of both worlds.
They offer a variety of flavored crusts, but the Onion is the perfect match for this treasure. Much like a bacon cheeseburger on an onion bun!
If there is one thing you can always count on, it’s Kayla’s culinary creativity. Having already perfected the Breakfast Burrito and created a Desert Breakfast, she moved on to something new. What she calls “Breakfast Nachos”, which are far more of a brunch for two. They would make a perfect match to a quiet Sunday and a pitcher of Bloody Mary. So much so in fact I could almost taste the Bloody Mary while I devoured them. Complete with bacon, sausage, egg, cheese, and a hash brown garnish served over fried tortilla chips, there is enough food here to summon a food coma from the perkiest of patrons. The combination of Chipotle sauce and hot sauce liven it all up nicely and increase the suggestion that a Bloody Mary should be included.
Now I just wonder how she does with a Bloody Mary…….
After a breakfast of Raspberry Pop-Tarts I decided to change things up for lunch. How about Bacon Cheese Dogs with Bertman’s Horseradish sauce?
I know Bob will not approve as the cheese came out of a jar, but it is Oscar Meyer Real Bacon Bits on top, so that should be worth something.
I don’t know what Bacon Jam is, but I sure do hope to find out!
I was in the mood for kielbasa and in need for something inexpensive to graze on over the weekend. When I saw Eckrich kielbasa on sale for buy 1, get 1 free, it seemed like an omen.

When you can start it with dessert?
This had to be what was going through Kayla’s mind when she came up with this sweet concoction. First she makes French Toast, but not just any French Toast. Oh no, she make French Vanilla French Toast, and that’s just the base. Then she tops this with a hearty glop of sweet strawberries, a dollop of whipped cream, and a drizzle of honey.
Estimated calorie content: Astronomical!
When I finished this “breakfast” I was both pleasantly stuffed and on a sugar high for hours. Luckily she doesn’t make this combination often or I would be fatter than I already am.
You can photograph your friends,
BUT, you can’t photograph your friend’s food….
I so want an iRobot Roomba!
Scooter’s Dawg House is more or less a typical purveyor of “gourmet” hot dogs. Basically they offer quality hot dogs with any combination of a lengthy list of toppings.
The “Cardinal Dawg” is one of my favorites, simply topped with grilled onions and red peppers. Seems pretty plain compared to some of their “named” combos with too many topping to list, but is very tasty. As I work my way through their menu I have crossed off many, but will definitely circle this one for the future!
Yet another treat from Nick’s Gyros #1 which may surprise you is the Patty Melt. Listed on the menu as “Juicy all beef burger patty with grilled onions, swiss & american cheese on grilled rye bread served with thousand island dressing” and priced at $4.99 this baby is a steal! An extra $2 makes it a Combo with fries (pictured) and a drink.
