Don’t let the name fool you, thick cut peppered bacon is in the house, and more importantly, on their burgers!

Could do with a little less lettuce, but I’ll let it slide this time.
Who's in the mood for some of the best corned beef in the world? Nicks gyros has got you covered. pic.twitter.com/bFH0Keg18o

A slab of beef, some carrots, potatoes, onions, red peppers and some spices go into a crock pot with no real recipe to base it on.
8 hours later dinner comes out.
It was good, but a pain in the ass. I won’t be doing this again.
Chef Danny out did himself today with this beast of a sammy! Delicious brisket, bacon, two kinds of melted cheese and chipotle sauce on a toasted bun.
Danny of J&J Catering fame totally out did himself this time. This BBQ Brisket sandwich beats the heck out of the local BBQ joints.
They should seriously serve this EVERY day!
This was my lunch today.
You should be able to tell three things about me from this.
- I live alone
- I need to go grocery shopping
- I suck at cooking
How many did you get?
Scooter’s Dawg House! Not only do they have some of the absolute BEST onion rings around, but check out the dawg! This is a “Long” Bacon & Cheese Dawg and I can’t tell you how delicious it was. While one of their plainer offerings, it is hard for me to try anything else.
Before becoming so enamored by the Bacon & Cheese Dawg I had a brief relationship with this regular sized Cardinal Dawg, smothered with grilled onions and red peppers.
They also offer the following free condiments to top off your dawg!
Ketchup — Mustard — Onion — Stadium Mustard — Relish — Jalapeño Peppers — Pepper Rings — Dill Pickle Slices — Lettuce — Tomato — BBQ Sauce
I don’t care who you are, there is something to be said for comfort food. Be it meatloaf and potatoes, grilled cheese and tomato soup, mac & cheese, or a simple PB&J sandwich of fresh bread. None are particularly healthy, and they certainly don’t belong on a gourmet menu, but they sure do taste good on a rainy day.
