Local Tavern called this a stuffed cheeseburger. Claimed it was a cheeseburger stuffed with macaroni and cheese, to be exact. What it was, however, was a large beef patty, topped with a helping of creamy macaroni and cheese and then covered with a second beef patty, cheese and bacon. An easy 2/3 pounds of beef on this beast. The combination of cheeses made it very tasty, and I refused to leave a single bite behind.
Lindsey was our waitress on this Tuesday afternoon, and she’s easily one of my favorites there.
Only in America do the chicken have fingers and the buffalo have wings. And when talking Buffalo Wings, Chet & Matt’s Pizza serves up some seriously good ones. Big wings, full of meat and in a variety of flavors including the above pictured Hot Garlic Parmesan or the huge BBQ wings below.
One of my son’s favorite eateries is Denny’s. He loves getting pancakes and bacon there. I can’t mind too much as they have proven themselves moderately capable of serving up a bacon cheeseburger which does not offend my pallette.
“The Breakfast Burger”. Named not because it was served at breakfast, but because it included breakfast on it. A cheeseburger topped with fried egg, bacon and BBQ sauce bought this tasty treat a special place in my heart. It is quite possibly my favorite combination of burger toppings.
Not everything needs bacon. I am also a huge fan of Fish & Chips. Preferably beer battered cod, as pictured here. This was a very enjoyable lunch, served by a lovely waitress. Really took the chill off a cold winter afternoon.
Chet and Matt’s Pizza in Sandusky, Ohio calls this “Pizza Teaser”, but it’s actually my son’s favorite pizza. This sauceless, multi-cheese topped “appetizer” is seasoned with garlic and olive oil and whatever else Chet picked to make it such a tasty treat.
Bearden’s makes some awesome food, and their burgers and onion rings top the list. Though you can’t see the bacon and fried egg riding across the top of this double steak burger, you can take my word that it was there, and it was delicious.
