One of the daily specials at Local Tavern was this Whiskey Peppercorn Burger with Swiss cheese and bacon.   sounded too good to resist.  Though it did say “You may need a fork for this one” it did not point the reason.  The reason said fork was required is because the entire thing floated upon a pool of peppercorn sauce like a BP tanker upon an oil spill.

Was it tasty?  Yes.

Would I ever get it again?  No!

Call me a purist, but a sandwich is meant to be eaten like a sandwich, and a cheeseburger like a cheeseburger.  Not cut up and forked
