You go ahead and butter your popcorn before sitting down to watch a movie.  Myself, I’ll be on the couch with a bowl of shrimp in my lap and a cup of cocktail sauce on the arm rest.  That is, of course, as long as my son isn’t here.  In that case I’ll be trying to wrestle the bowl out of his hands before he eats them all!
